“Shiv Bhojan Yojana” is a Government of Maharashtra initiative to make affordable foodeasily available to all citizens.
The scheme received state cabinet nod on 24 th December2019 and a GR specifying the guidelines around the scheme was released on 1 st January2020.Under this scheme, a meal (thali) will be provided to citizens at a mere price of Rs.10.
Eachmeal will comprise of two rotis, one vegetable curry, one rice bowl and one bowl of lentil.These meals will be provided at government approved eateries between 12 noon to 2pmevery day.
